Dear Visitor, welcome to the first official carp fishing website in Israel!

We have been a registered organization since August 2004. Our main goals, as defined in our regulations, are:

1. Ecological development – protecting water resources
2. Education and training related to fishing and nature conservation
3. Promoting sport fishing as part of an ecological lifestyle

Our club is a non-profit organization that relies on member contributions and also seeks to make a positive impact in the community. The club is a member of F.I.P.S.e.d. and ICFA.

We have launched several fishing-related activities in schools for at-risk youth, and organized a number of short carp tournaments and major championships.

Over the past 14 years, my friends and I have worked to bring together Israeli anglers who are interested in sport fishing, and I believe we have succeeded!

More than 5,500 anglers are now registered on our online forum, and we have established the first Israeli freshwater fishing club – Amuta IsraFish.
Despite being a young organization, we have already completed many projects:

• We began cleanup campaigns around lakes in the Golan Heights, collecting over a ton of garbage.
• We have organized more than 60 different sport fishing competitions, including 9 Open Carp Championships.
• One of our goals is to help integrate new immigrants from Russia and at-risk youth into Israeli society. To this end, we support the "Nirim" special school by running a fishing club. Two volunteers from our club lead classes and take children on field sessions. Two of the club’s youth members have already participated in our recent championship.
• In 2007, our organization was awarded first place in the category of "Contribution to Environmental Protection" at the "People of the Year 2007" awards, hosted by Channel Israel Plus.
• Since 2014, our association has participated in the World Carp Championship – the largest and most important event for sport anglers worldwide. In 2015, we achieved 9th place among 24 national teams.
